Where do I start?
Southern Scribe Press is ready to meet you at whatever stage of your project you currently find yourself! From simple edits to a complete creative overhaul, our list of services is quite expansive, leaving no room for stress while your project comes together.
How much will this cost me?
Just as every book is unique, so is its journey to publication. Depending on the level of assistance that is needed to get your project from A to B, if there are illustrations involved, and a variety of other factors, your contract is tailored to YOUR experience and yours only. There are no hidden fees, or surprise upcharges, and your royalties are disbursed in FULL.
How long will publishing take?
Timelines can vary wildly in this industry, but a typical timeline from start to finish can range anywhere from 6 months to a year.
How do I sell my books?
Every Southern Scribe Press author will not only have their books immediately available through Amazon, but also have the opportunity to be listed through Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, and Walmart’s online marketplaces. Wholesale and extended distribution options are also immediately implemented.
What if I need illustrations?
At Southern Scribe Press, our community of creative geniuses is comprised of more than just authors. We have connections with many illustrators who are always looking for new projects! Authors and illustrators are connected easily for seamless collaboration and consistent quality.
Is it worth it?
ABSOLUTELY. The feeling of holding your book in your hand for the first time, and knowing that the story inside of you will finally find audience with countless others, is like no other feeling you’ll ever experience! You’ll be planning your next book in no time!
